This beautiful shot was originally lacking warmth and focus.
My approach to colour correcting this scene was to introduce subtle reds and oranges to change the mood, to become more welcoming and less cold.
There was also a lack of light on the talent’s face, encouraging the audience’s eye to drift. To address this I increased exposure to the talent’s face and introduced a delicate vignette to darken the edges of the frame.
The end result is a much more homely, welcoming ambience to the room with clearer direction for where the audience’s eyes should focus.
